Shawn Michaels Retiring 2010

Shawn Michaels Retiring 2010 – If you are a WWE fan, you never want to see superstars leave such as Shawn Michaels and his retirement. And after all the rumors, it looks as though he will retire now that Wrestlemania 26 is over.

In the latest issue of WWE Magazine, a question was asked on when he will retire. His response:

“I have my retirement set already. I have been thinking of my retirement for a long time now.”

According to WWE:

“Of course, garnering The Undertaker’s sole, undivided attention is a double-edged sword. The Phenom finally agreed to face The Showstopper one more time at WrestleMania – with the stipulation that it would be Shawn Michaels’ last time as a WWE Superstar, should he fail to end “The Streak,” a prize that many would equate to a World Championship … or perhaps hold in even higher regard.”

Shawn Michaels did confirm the deal that he would retire is he didn’t beat The Undertaker.

“I wouldn’t have agreed to this match if I wasn’t at a place where I was ready to take on the inevitable, which is the end of my career.I like to be a man of my word. I’d like to honor what I said to The Undertaker … that if I don’t beat his streak, I will walk away.”

And since Wrestlemania 26 just ended last night, it appears that Shawn Michaels retiring came sooner than expected (not really). Here is a clip of him after Wrestlemania 26:
