Paris Hilton Banned from Las Vegas Resort After Night of Debauchery – Las Vegas police arrested Paris Hilton and her boyfriend Cy Waits from a vehicle police say “reeked of marijuana.”

If it was just the marijuana, it wouldn’t be that bad.  But Waits, who was driving the car, also reeked of alcohol and when searching Hilton, police found a small bag that contained almost a gram of cocaine.  Waits failed all attempts at sobriety tests.

Shortly after the arrest, spokeswoman Jennifer Dunne of Wynn Resorts told the Associated Press that Hilton is banned from Wynn Las Vegas and Encore.  Dunne also said that Waits will be “separated” from his job as top managing partner for Wynn’s two nightclubs, the Tryst nightclub at Wynn and XS at Encore.

Hilton is scheduled to be arraigned on October 27.  Waits  is probably going to fight it.  His lawyer said that he passed the eye dilation test.  Waits also allowed his blood to be drawn while he was being registered at the Clark County jail.

Now – let me ask you the reader something that’s been bugging me as I wrote this.  Does any of this really matter?  Why do people care about this stuff?
