Jennifer Lopez Out Of As American Idol Judge – Mariah Carey In? – Well, I guess we won’t be seeing a hot female singer on the American Idol judge panel this upcoming year… or will we? Rumors have it that Jennifer Lopez got the boot even before she started and even more rumors say Mariah Carey may step in.

First, Jennifer Lopez was rumored to be the replacement for Simon but supposedly her demands started to get “out of hand.” Hey, I thought she wasn’t a big diva anymore but I guess we could be wrong? But a source told People.com that Lopez’s “demands got out of hand. Fox had just enough.”

Meanwhile, while the rumors continue to spread on who the new judge will be on the upcoming season of American Idol, Mariah Carey is said to be interested. Now, it doesn’t mean she will actually become the new judge because I also heard that if she was to do it, the show would have to work around her schedule.

Personally, I think that may be a bigger diva move than Lopez so I wouldn’t hold my breath on her becoming the new judge either.

Don’t get me wrong, I would love to see a hot female singer every week instead of Simon but one can only hope.
