Lakers vs Celtics Game 4 Score And Results – NBA Finals 2010
Lakers vs Celtics Game 4 Score And Results – NBA Finals 2010 – The Lakers vs Celtics game 4 was just another great match to watch and the Celtics fought hard to even the series at 2-2 with a 96-89 victory.
If you missed the game, here’s a quick recap:
The first half was pretty close but the Celtics kept missing open shots, missing layups and just couldn’t seem to convert on some easy buckets. And even with that, the Celtics was only down by three at halftime. They played better defense but even with that said, Kobe Bryant still managed to score a game high of 33 and he hit six 3-pointers.
Throughout the entire game (and series), the referees were just making bad calls on both sides and it was a little frustrating to watch.
Lakers center Andrew Bynum only played 12 minutes in the first half because of knee problems. And missing their starting center really hurt them as the Celtics started working the paint a lot more.
In the fourth quarter, with the game still tight, the Celtics bench players really came through. The only starter on the floor was Ray Allen. The bench players on the floor included Nate Robinson, Glen Davis, Tony Allen and Rasheed Wallace which was the turning point for the Celtics. That group managed to go on a 21-10 run in the fourth quarter to take the lead and keep it for good.
At one point, Coach Doc Rivers wanted to sub Rondo, Pierce and KG back in but pulled them back because the bench players were doing so good.
Tony Allen played great defense on Kobe. Nate Robinson was penetrating and hitting jumpers. Big Baby was getting in the paint and scoring. Rasheed was playing good defense and rebounding.
Ultimately, the Celtics bench won game 4 for them against the Lakers.
Game 5 Lakers vs Celtics will take place on Sunday June 13th on ABC at 8pm EST. I’ll have the link available then for those who want to watch it live streaming online.
