BP Oil Spill Live Feed

BP Oil Spill Live Feed – BP will proceed with what is called a “top kill” to try to stop the oil leak into the Gulf of Mexico. The company has also decided that they would provide a live feed of the procedure, which can last as long as two days, for viewers.

In case you are interested in watching the “top kill” procedure, you can do so here which is streaming live courtesy of Yahoo and ABC News. It is said that the quality of the live feed may be slow in some instances due to traffic spikes. So, please be patient if you are tuned into the BP oil spill live feed.

So, what is a “top kill” exactly?

If I read this correctly, a “top kill” is a procedure in which they will be pumping large amounts of mud and cement into the leak to try to stop it. BP has supplied about 50,000 barrels of mud and cement. The hard part of this will be trying to pump mud at a downward pressure so they can counteract the pressure of the oil spill that is flowing up.
