Lindsay Lohan Ankle Bracelet: Court Issued – Lindsay Lohan is being penalized even more for missing her court hearing last week. It looks like she is forced to wear an alcohol-monitoring ankle bracelet with some tough probation restrictions to avoid any jail time.

As you may have heard, Lohan missed her court hearing last week in Beverly Hills because she was overseas in Cannes attending the film festival. A warrant was issued for her arrest but her lawyer posted bail stating the actress had her passport stolen and she was unable to make it back in time.

After her hearing in court yesterday, she will now wear an alcohol detection device on her ankle and she will also need to submit weekly drug and alcohol testings in Los Angeles. Lohan was also forced to wear one back in 2007.

Because of this, her movie career is being put on hold. She was originally scheduled to travel to Texas to film a movie called “Machete” but now that will have to wait.

Currently, the 23-year-old actress must wear the ankle bracelet until at least July when she is scheduled for her next hearing in court. From there, the judge will decide if she will need to continue wearing it.
