Celebrity Apprentice Winner 2010 | Who Won Celebrity Apprentice 2010

Celebrity Apprentice Winner 2010 | Who Won Celebrity Apprentice 2010 – Celebrity Apprentice 2010 faked some people out a little bit especially since we all thought a winner was going to be picked this past weekend. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait until May 23rd when the season finale airs on NBC.

I know Donald Trump is anxiously waiting to fire his last contestant of this year and there are only two people left; Holly Robinson Peete and Bret Michaels.

I think going into the season finale of Celebrity Apprentice, Michaels is a big favorite to win. I mean, he has been publicly battling a brain hemorrhage trying to survive it, he has mentioned his diabetes and the fact that he has a diabetic daughter, etc. On top of that, it seems as though he does pretty good on the show as a boss. And it seems as though he does a lot better than Peete.

Though, I wouldn’t underestimate Peete. She got to the final two spots so that has to say something about her determination as well.

Of course, I’m sure there will be some twist in the story and winner next week but personally, I’m cheering for Bret Michaels to win this one. Agree or disagree, we’ll all find out who wins on May 23rd.

there is only one contestant who has all the qualifications that are needed for the perfect apprentice. that person was fired last week. what a shame that curtis is gone. he has it all, first and foremost, he is a gentleman in every respect. he is a great listener, works so well with every type of person,(we had one of everything, didn’t we) and never loses his cool. you made a big mistake, donald in letting him go. he would have been your most loyal, hard working guy to have on your team. he is also great looking, and a pleasure to have around. if he could win over maria and sharon, he is a winner. (I am so glad sharon is gone and took her trash mouth with her.)

  2. Sure thing Says:

    Michaels won.

Trump did a news interview with the NBC station in LA last week and when asked abotu Bret’s health misspoke saying “we hope Bret is around to work with us next year–I mean week.”

  3. Dyly18 Says:

um……mary ann…….this season, nor any of the celbrity seasons are about hiring someone for his team. That was just the first season. This is all about charity and raising money. ………that went a little over your head eh?

  4. Avenger Says:

Holly is such a lying bitch and should never have made it to the final two. Bret should win in this case anyway over Holly. Hey, did she ever make good on her promise to write a check out to Sharon when she won the 347,000? Don’t think she ever did as it was never again discussed. So Holly is again a lying bitch….

  5. bid daddy dude Says:

I think Bret won hands down! Everyone knows that. Holly is a two face lying BITCH! And someone should stay on her ass till she writes a check to sharon like she said she would. All of the money she won will probably go stright in her pocket!

  6. Teresa Graham Says:

    I hate Holly…….
Bret surprised me. O.K. so he loves women (bad women) but he was always polite/kind. He did not back stab anyone – he kept his integrity. I sure hope he wins. Again, I HATE EVERYTHING ABOUT HOLLY….

  7. Time Zone Says:

    @Avenger,

How do you know a check wasn’t written to Sharon’s charity? Damn, just say you don’t like Holly. FYI: Just because you never heard if it was discussed again, doesn’t mean it wasn’t discussed again, and followed thru. MAYBE YOU JUST MISSED IT. How many other celebrities in the world claim they were going to donate and you never heard if they followed through or not? Did you investigate them, or just assumed they didn’t follow through because if was never discussed again and say they were lying bitches as well? Damn! And why is it any of your concern anyway? What if you said you were going to do something and others were around to hear you say that. Does that mean you are a lying bitch because the others who were listening to your conversation didn’t witness you complete whatever you said you were going to do? You are such a hostile prejudice woman/man. I mean DAMN! Get a life already!!!

  8. lol Says:

Who the F*** said he has a diabetic daughter?
She had exams, he cried, but that conclusion is just what makes blogs like this utterly moronic.

  9. Thomas Says:

Bret Michaels said it himself that his daughter has diabetes on the news before he went back into the hospital.

  10. anonymous Says:

ok holly didnt ever write the check to sharon cause in a later episode they showed holly giving the full check to her charity. and bret’s daughter is borderline diabetic…just clearing that up

  11. Ralph Says:

It’s a shame that Donald allowed his emotions to get in the way of simply doing the right thing, which was to keep Holly. She was simply the best. Although, Holly seemed to have forgotten that her charity is equally important, by jumping on the Bret emotional support team. I’m not saying to be insensative, I think she should’ve remained strong and supportive towards her your own charity. Nonetheless, I’m happy for them both.

  12. LU Says:

Are you kidding me?… winning tasks is what winning the Apprentice is about… Trump IS NOT THE PERSON WHO DECIDES THE WINNER FOR ANY TASK – the CLIENT’s decide the task winner. Trump decides only who is fired… FYI, “being tough” is about the losers who have to backstab to save themselves from being FIRED in the boardroom …all of which are people on the LOSING TEAM! It doesn’t exempt a player from being fired. It’s actually not a good thing to be called tough all the time… it’s better to be called “impressive” or “strong player”.

So, what is all this ridiculously stupid confusion about Holly being the better player?… Why? — simply because of Trump saying she is “tough” all the time, or because Holly (Holly’s Team) raised more money on ONE SINGLE winning task than anyone else, which by the way was HER ONLY WIN AND WAS FUNDAMENTALLY A RESULT OF HER TEAMMATES CONTRIBUTIONS in several ways: (a) NONE OF HER PRE-ESTABLISHED “DONOR” DONTATIONS WOULD HAVE COUNTED without her teammates (and Cindy’s) last minute efforts to save the day by scrambling to bring in the REQUIRED stand-in REPRESENTATIVES for each donation – her fund raiding would have been disqualified!, TERRIBLE TIME MANAGEMENT BY HOLLY (b) Holly would have LOST without Summer and Curtis providing the Exercise Content – they would have been disqualified without an Exercise Routine AND the STAND-IN Students to take the class and Rep for the Donations (c) $140K from the opposition (Sharon) raised for the opponent’s charity, and most importantly (d) being a PROFESSIONAL FUND RAISER FOR HER OWN PERSONAL CHARITY COMPANY (which pays her a salary, and gives her a HUGE advantage because she has regular donors!!!)…

Brett was actually a UNIQUELY SUPERIOR PLAYER BECAUSE HE WON 100% of his tasks as a Project Manager, and he produced more winning product and content than anyone on the show!!! That’s a fact! There was no sympathy in this, Holly’s stats don’t bear her a win under any logical scrutiny by any objective rational person who watched every episode.

Okay, so let’s evaluate it empirically:

    FINAL CHALLENGE:
    ————————–
    a)
Brett did almost all his own work!
Brett picked his actors and wrote his script, AND did all the video editing with only a tech at his side. Brett’s was fun and made sense!

    b) Holly sent Curtis Stone to negotiate THE MOST IMPORTANT ELEMENT: i.e. to wrestle the Passion Fruit flavor away from Brett, which was the key element to her concept for her Com-PASSION-berry! Why she didn’t go herself! That was key, and she was lucky Curtis won out in the negotiations (Brett didn’t even care, he would have made a winner out of Pears if he had to)… Holly was also less energetic, and wanted to work less than a Diabetic — she was bummed when he had to leave. She also SENT Maria to do the Commercial Editing, EVEN THOUGH Holly threw Maria under the bus for her video editing in a PREVIOUS TASK… call that a good leader? I call it making the same mistake twice!!!

    c) Snapple picked Brett’s Snapple Video Commercial over Holly’s – it was easily a better commercial. Holly’s was bland and BAD acting – Holly picked the actors and wrote the script… you be the judge.

    d) Brett’s presentation was light, smooth, and made a great impression on the crowd… the crowd loved it.

Holly was slow, stuttering, unprepared, nervous… the crowd found her awkward and NOT easy to listen to…

They did a CROWD reaction test, the CROWD PICKED BRETT- Before he had the recent health scares!!! There was no health issue or sympathy involved in the tasks or the final task.

Keep in mind, throughout all tasks (including the final) …
TRUMP DOES ‘NOT’ DECIDE THE TASK WINNER(s), he ONLY DECIDES who is FIRED OUT OF THE LOSING TEAM(s), and ultimately who is hired in the final – based on who is fired for the final task …THE CLIENTS ALWAYS DECIDE WHO WINS THE TASKS (not Trump).

    SEASON SUMMARY:
    ————————–

    Brett:
2 wins 0 losses (not counting final against Holly)
    - Right Guard spot vs Holly — Brett WON by a landslide.
    - Amazing Creativity!!!
    - Amazing Confidence and RISK taking!!! Unmatched in Apprentice with respect to his effort on the 3 jingle task for home services company.
    - Never got lazy, even came back from a pre-arranged gig to support Holly when Holly was the PM over Brett and Cindy (Sp?), and Brett did A LOT of PHYSICAL LABOR… never let diabetes or health come into play!

    Holly:
1 win 2 losses (not counting final against Brett)
    - Holly also lost to Brett in Right Guard Spot.
    - Holly is a ‘professional’ Fund Raiser and saved her donors for one special task that allowed the losers funds to go to the winner… CLEVER, BUT NOT AT ALL IN THE SPIRIT OF THE CHARITABLE CAUSE FOR ALL CHARITIES INVOLVED.
    - Holly promised Sharon a check, because Sharon rasied $140,000 of the cash that Holly took in that special winner takes all challenge. Holly has not presented a check to Sharon, and if she does, it should be for $140K and NO LESS!!!
    - Holly did not provide any meaningful content that caused an impressive win. Holly won her single challenge with a LOT OF HELP and because she is a professional fund raiser with REGULAR DONORS that she had in her cell phone that she knew she could count on… AND ONLY WAS IT THE MOST IN CA HISTORY BECAUSE SHE GOT ANOTHER $140K from Sharon (her opponent). Also Cindy and the other teammates were instrumental in Holly’s single win, because NONE OF HOLLY’s DONATIONS RAISED WOULD HAVE COUNTED if Cindy and teammates did not get the stand-in representatives to show up through heroic scrambling last second efforts! Not good management.
    - Trump said Holly was tough many times… that’s the word Trump uses for someone who throws people under the bus… but that is NOT the type of person you want to hire… Why? Great business people don’t succeed by throwing their staff under the bus – they succeed because they take the responsibility, learn from mistakes, and make sure their team is loyal by guiding them with GREAT VISION… all of the contestants cared about their charities. So, Holly should have taken some cues from past Apprentice winners and focus on stating why she thinks she should be saved when confronted in the boardroom. Throwing people under the bus only gets rid of the week, not the better competition… oh yeah, she had to throw people under the bus, because her merits never compared to the stronger competitor like Brett!

So, how is that anyone can think that Holly was superior? How can they argue with the overwhelming key facts? Watch the show, do the research, and please try a little harder not to throw out silly Blogs or comments without substantiating them!

  13. LU Says:

Let’s empirically evaluate the decision between Brett and Holly…

    For FINAL TASK CHALLENGE:
Client, Snapple, clearly indicated Brett was overall better in performance. His presentation was more impressive. Snapple liked both drinks, and both brochures were a draw (one was better inside, one better outside). The client reacted more favorably to Brett’s Snapple video commercial over Holly’s – they said it was more appealing, fun and used his celebrity presence and voice to draw attention. Holly’s commercial was not unusual or exciting, and did not use her or Curtis as a spokesperson. They liked her Drink label a little better, but did not like her presentation. Holly did not take advantage of the celebrity of Curtis or herself in any of her media. It is also fair to say Holly delegated poorly. Holly sent Maria to do the Commercial for post-editing work (not to be underestimated in film or video production), EVEN THOUGH Holly had PREVIOUSLY BLAMED MARIA for her poor video editing in a PREVIOUSLY LOST TASK… Call that a good leader? …I call it making the same mistake twice!!!

So who do you think won?

Keep in mind, throughout all tasks (including Finale),
TRUMP DOES ‘NOT’ DECIDE TASK WINNER(s),
he ONLY DECIDES who is FIRED from LOSING TEAM(s), and ultimately helps decide who is hired in the final…THE CLIENT ALWAYS DECIDES WHO WINS THE TASKS (not Trump).

    SEASON SUMMARY:

    Brett:
2 wins 0 losses (not counting final against Holly)
    - Brett almost single handedly won the 3 jingles radio commercials challenge for a home services company- he won by a landslide for content, superior clarity and originality.
    - Brett’s strengths were, superior team respect and drive, amazing creativity, unyielding confidence and effort.
    - Never got lazy, even came back from a pre-arranged gig to support Holly when Holly was the PM over Brett and Cindy (Sp?), and Brett did A LOT of PHYSICAL LABOR… never let diabetes or health come into play!
    - Performance for all tasks including the final Snapple task was BEFORE Brett had recent health emergencies. No sympathy was involved in the statistics which speak for themselves.

    Holly:
1 win 2 losses (not counting final against Brett)
    - Holly was Project Manager when her team raised the most money in a single challenge. This was a special challenge where the losing teams funds raised would be added to the winner’s funds.
    - Holly consistently vocalized who Trump should fire in the boardroom, and often betrayed her teammates by “throwing them under the bus” – aggressive, but unnecessary if she is a better task performer.
    - Holly is a ‘professional’ Fund Raiser for her own company (charity), and so she garnered PRE-ARRANGED commitments from her REGULAR DONORS, which she clearly didn’t use on other challenges, but reserved those commitments for the task she managed that allowed loser’s funds to be added to the winner’s… This was clever but certainly an unfair advantage (it’s basically cheating against the other charities) – NOT in the spirit of respecting charities of other Project Managers.
    - Holly did not direct ‘HER’ DONORS supposedly waiting in line outside the restaurant to come in for their large contributions for first task because Cindy was PM. While that may be part of Holly’s plan, since their team lost because of that, Trump should have FIRED HOLLY on the FIRST TASK (not Carol).
    - In the challenge Holly won the most funds raised in a single CA task, it was not solely her contributions that achieved this. Not only did Sharon’s losing $140K get added to Holly’s to give her that historical highest-gross-in-1-task, but NONE OF HOLLY’s PRE-ESTABLISHED “DONOR” DONATIONS WOULD HAVE COUNTED without her teammates (and Cindy’s) last minute efforts to save the day by scrambling to bring in the ‘REQUIRED’ stand-in REPRESENTATIVES for each donation – HOLLY’s DONATIONS would have been DISQUALIFIED! Clearly POOR TIME MANAGEMENT by Holly.
    - Holly promised Sharon a check, because Sharon raised $140,000 of the cash that Holly took in that special winner takes all challenge. Holly has NOT YET presented a check to Sharon, and if she does, it should be for $140K and NO LESS!
    - Great business people don’t succeed by throwing their staff under the bus – they succeed because they take the responsibility, learn from mistakes, and make sure their team is loyal by guiding them with GREAT VISION… all of the contestants cared about their charities.
    - Holly should have restricted her fighting spirit in the boardroom to stating why she thinks ‘she’ should be saved after losing a task, but clearly did not have the merits to match against some of the other contestants.

So, how is it that anyone can think that Holly was superior? Watch the show, do the research (See Wikipedia), and please substantiate your comments with facts!

NOTICE: NBC and the Trump Organization should not allow professional fund raisers employed by their own organizations on Celebrity Apprentice, not unless ALL are professional like that. No private foundations should be allowed either. It’s just not very equitable (nor as philanthropic) to allow such advantages.

  14. Dustin Says:

LU you live in a dream world. Donald Trump and Mark Burnett decide exactly who wins and loses those challenges aside from the money raising ones.

Brett is “borderline” retarded. All his ideas are super cheesy, usually including some really lame thing to do with rocking someone’s world or some ridiculous 80’s statement about rocking.

If the show weren’t about ratings Summer would have won. She was one of the rare people who was effective as a leader (type A) and a helper/apprentice (type b). She let people know when their idea didn’t seem to be working, she did most of the work on multiple projects, and she didn’t constantly bring up the fact about how sick her daughter was. But when it comes down to it, Brett gets the ratings and the PR for Snapple by doing the whole stroke stunt…if he doesn’t die within the next year, we are going to know he’s full of shid, if he does die…ooops (sorry Brett).
