The reason why he returned is because Ed Wuncler bet his banks, the Freeman’s house and everything on this game so it forced him to make a drastic comeback to the game.

The kickball game featured the residents of Woodcrest against a Chinese team and Wuncler made a bet with a Chinese business mogul on who would win. Huey is forced to be the team captain and Ed Wuncler even tried to blackmail him with a photo oh him wearing Kanye West glasses and nut hugger jeans.
