Who Got Kicked Off American Idol April 21 – Last night’s American Idol was a special episode that aired two and a half hours and the theme was “Idol Gives Back” in which other artists performed for charities.

In this particular episode, Elton John performed for his Elton John AIDS Foundation. Though, he was not the only musical artist to appear on this extended show of American Idol. Other artists that performed included Alicia Keys, Carrie Underwood, The Black Eyed Peas, Annie Lennox, Joss Stone and Mary J. Blige. It was definitely a good show and we all got to see an extra American Idol with these big names performing. It was almost like a double treat.

Unfortunately with this special “Idol Gives Back” American Idol episode with all these great artists performing, someone had to go home to narrow down the remaining six contestants.

The three Idols that were in the bottom three this week were Tim Urban, Aaron Kelly and Casey James. And unfortunately, Tim Urban was sent packing. In addition to getting voted off of American Idol, he wasn’t even able to perform his last farewell song because of the limited time the show had left from the extended portion of the show.

Then again, who wants to perform again after they just been kicked off?

And now there remains the top 6 American Idol contestants.
