Dancing With The Stars April 6 2010
Dancing With The Stars April 6 2010 – Apparently Dancing With The Stars was more popular than American Idol last night, but what was more interesting is the fact that Kate Gosselin survived another round of eliminations. The unfortunate part is the astronaut, Buzz Aldrin, was officially eliminated from the show.
Aldrin simply didn’t impress the judges and viewers much and it almost seemed like he was a misfit on the show to begin with. I mean, his performance as a dancer just wasn’t up to par and I’m a little surprised he didn’t get voted off earlier. I mean, Shannen Doherty was voted off before he was and she didn’t do that bad.
That makes me think about the show just being a popularity content similar to American Idol. A good instance of this is going to constantly be Kate Gosselin because she just hasn’t been dancing good, the judges see that and yet, after three weeks of Dancing With The Stars, she is still on for some reason.
I read that producers from the show are trying to keep her on to generate more controversies which would lead people to watch the show even more. If that is true, it is apparently working as the show started off by saying it’s ratings are better than American Idol.
On last nights show, we also got to see Reba McEntire perform a couple of songs which was a nice change of pace.
Anyways, Lucky Buzz and Ashly got a standing ovation from the audience and judges before they left.
