Randy Moss Waived By Vikings: Will He End Up Back With The New England Patriots? – I’m sure everyone that pays any attention to sports has found out that Randy Moss was waived by the Minnesota Vikings yesterday. So, who will pick him up from the waiver wire? The New England Patriots.
Okay, before you guys go out and call me crazy, you should hear me out.
The situation: Moss was traded from the Patriots to the Vikings for a third-round draft pick about a month ago. He was clearly unhappy at the fact that the Patriots didn’t sign him to a long-term contract. He came to the Vikings to play but he didn’t seem too happy either. Right after the Vikings lost to the Patriots, Moss was saying how great the Pats played and how he missed every single one of those guys on the football team. At the same time, he criticized the Vikings preparation for the game and the coaching staff.
Then he was cut.
For the record, Brett Favre bashes the Vikings coaching all the time and he will never get waived, traded or even benched.
Now if no one picks Moss up off the waiver wire then he will become an unrestricted free agent. That means any time can pick up him and the Vikings will have to pay the rest of his 2010 salary. All Moss has to do is say “yes.”
As it looks, Moss will probably only say “yes” to one team – the Patriots.
Of course, there are plenty of teams that will want to pick him up but will he give them 100 percent or slack off to possibly get cut again?
What team do you think Randy Moss will end up at?
