Medal Of Honor Review 2010: Not As Good As Modern Warfare? – Some of the early Medal Of Honor reviews seem to be pretty good but apparently not as good as the Modern Warfare games. If you are looking to compare the two then you’ll probably be somewhat disappointed. If you like war games or never played Modern Warfare then I’m sure it’ll be a great game for you guys to play since there will be no comparisons.
Medal Of Honor has been everywhere whether it’s from controversy or praises on how good the game looks. The newest Medal Of Honor is featured in a present-day Afghanistan and it was banned from being sold in U.S. military bases because gamers were apparently allowed to play as combatants representing the Taliban.
Of course, last week EA said they would be dubbed as the “Opposing Force” instead. Though, the name change was the only thing that took place while everything else remained the same.
Getting into the actual gameplay, we see the story mode focus on two operatives named Rabbit and Deuce as they find their ways behind enemy lines from orders taken from the top. Of course, there are different scenes where you’ll play as other characters similar to what they did in Modern Warfare. I read that the fight scenarios are extremely realistic as well.
The graphics are good but it doesn’t look as smooth as Modern Warfare. Sorry to keep comparing the two but I’ve been a huge MW fan and I’m just basing this on the handful of reviews I’ve read on the game so far.
The multiplayer mode is supposedly crazy and filled with tons of action and fun. Though, you’re kind of missing that same action in the campaign mode so it’s hard to just switch gears from one to another.
Personally, I’m probably going to get this game regardless but if you’re a Modern Warfare fan then you might as well just wait for Black Ops to come out.
