“The Social Network” Number One In Box-Office For Second Straight Week – It looks like there are a lot of Facebook fans who are supporting the movie “The Social Network” as it was the number one movie in the box-office for the second straight week.
“The Social Network” which was directed by David Fincher has lived up to the hype especially since it is a movie about the most popular social networking site in the world. The film took in another $15.5 million this past weekend just beating out second place finish “Life As We Know It” which took in $14.6 million.
“The Social Network” stars Jesse Eisenberg as Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and Justin Timberlake as Napster mastermind Sean Parker. The movie has brought int $46 million in domestic totals and is reportedly only $4 million off from the film’s entire production budget.
“Life As We Know It” finished second and the movie is a romantic comedy starring Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel as two opposites who are forced to be together and raise a orphaned baby after their friends were killed in an accident.
